Chairing post-show talks and panel discussions that give unmissable insights to audiences is my favourite thing to do. I have a wide variety of events coming up for plays and musicals across London and beyond.

If you love Derren Brown, and magic and mind-reading generally, The Psychic Project, David Narayan’s show based on the true story of the Cold War’s psychic spies, is a must-see.

In 1972, the Cold War took an unusual turn. The CIA learnt that Russia was investing in mind-control research and achieving some remarkable results.

Not wanting to be left behind, US scientists began a secret project to train civilians as psychic spies: stealing secrets, manipulating memories and finding out if thoughts can kill.

Drawing on 100,000 pages of declassified documents, David Narayan attempts the CIA’s experiments, seeing if a modern audience can use the same techniques in his spine-tingling show The Psychic Project.

“Fascinating” – World Magic Review

“As disturbing as it is astonishing” – Oxford Times

Following the 7.30pm performance of The Psychic Project on Thursday 21 May 2020, I’ll chair a post-show discussion with David Narayan and, via video link from the US, Paul H Smith, one of the original psychic spies who continues to train people in remote viewing techniques. Smith is the author of The Essential Guide to Remote Viewing and Reading the Enemy’s Mind.
